Info Tech 8 – Evaluating Websites!

After our lessons and assignment on ‘how’ to search, let’s take a look on what exactly it is we’re looking for!

What are some of the qualities that make a website ‘trustworthy’? The way it looks? Let’s have a look through a few of these websites. As we do, look through the criteria sheet that I handed out.

Which websites are ‘real’ and which ones are hoaxes? In a Word document, copy the name of the website and give me 2-3 sentences about why you think it is ‘real’ or a ‘hoax’. Use the criteria sheet to guide your explanation. Once you’re finished, print your document AND post it to your blog under the title “Website Evaluation”.
